3. For next Wednesday, Oct. 17, start thinking about 2 or 3 ideas for the final multimedia project.

4. Explore free website builders: Wix and Weebly

5. By Friday Oct. 19 download this form and fill it out.:
a. your tentative topic or topics (Professor Gárate or Breiner must give approval).
b. the names of the members of your final project group (3 to 5 members) with the name of the team leader and give a specific role/task to each group member: name a webmaster, multimedia producer, writer, designer and community manager. Some people may be doing more than one role. Upload it to Exercise 7 in ADI.

Blog post 5, due Friday Oct. 12: How social media cover the topic

Each team member will search social media for people and organizations that regularly post material about the team's topic. Identify the ones that are most useful and interesting to you and write a few sentences on why each of them is relevant to your topic. Search using hashtags or other indicators to help find material.

Blog post 6, due Friday Oct. 19: The best material posted on your topic in the past 12 months

Each member of the team will list several examples of what they think was the best work on your topic in the past 6 months, and why you chose them.

Blog post 7, due Friday Oct. 26: Collect all 6 of your links, and reflect on blogging

Each member of the team will put links to all six of their blog posts on one blog entry and then write about their experience of blogging. Put the link to that last blog entry in "Exercise 8, Final Blog Post" in Contents in ADI.

Week 5, Exercise 5, Multimedia presentation in slides

1. Work in groups of maximum 4 people.  It can be any 2, 3 or 4 people . 2. You are going to create a multimedia presentation of an event , a company , or a product in at least 15 slides or pages, using  online  platforms such as  Google Slides ,  Prezi ,  Keynote . 3. The presentation  must include texts, videos and images  and must include at least  15 slides/pages . Depending on your topic, it might be a good idea to include a Google Map , a Timetoast.com timeline, a graphic, a gif with  gifmaker.me , or a graphic with  excel  or  infogr.am ,  ease.ly ,  datawrapper  or  piktochart.com . Final project, weekly schedule

1. A reminder. At this point in the course, each of you is expected to do 6.5 hours a week on the project.  Each person, 6.5 hours a week.  You will use this time for planning, creating, editing, and polishing your work.  Most of the work will be done outside the classes. Here are the project groups and their proposals so far.  2. The practice sessions will be the time for each team to meet with the professor, show their work, consult on ideas, get feedback. 3.  Project 2, Oct. 31, Nov. 2.  (You completed   Project 1 when you selected a topic and formed a team.)   This week you will do a deeper and broader development of your project ideas.   Download this form , fill it out with the help of your team.
